Hey folks! This Minoru here...and yes! I am similar to Amanda in which
the both of us HAVE FINISHED O lvls!!! Now wait for the results....=.=

*ahem* For those that missed out last Saturday, i won't lie to you. You
sure missed some nice stuff. For those present, talk about nice games
huh? LOL! The river idea was great!
But hey! Don't ya'll who missed out the fun fret, cause.....POTLUCK'S
next week! Weeeeee!!!

I kind of found the last part really interesting. So who benefits the
most on Christmas?
E.g. answer:The shopkeeper!
Why?: Cause he earns a truckload of money! Gifts mah!

Man oh man! Can't really wait for the performances to begin! Even though
some of us, like myself, only learn a portion of the dance, it still is a
cool portion don't ya think?! =)

Oh yeah, a mental note to all of us there. It might sound a little
embarrassing, but send your friends an sms of your performances at the
shopping malls. I'm sure they're close by. Why hey! I called like 1
person! Well it's a start! Friends encourage each other! Friends cheer
each other on! So let's get to typing!

OH! Nearly forgot! THE FOOD!!!....just tasted great! 2 huge bowls of
whipped potato. *drools* =O ~ ~
My thanks to the chef!

SO! For good food! Fun times and a great way to really know what
Christmas is all about, get over here !!!

What time is it???
It's kaya time! (ok very random)
bye!

HELLOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Now it’s all the just-come-back people blogging.
Well…I just came back from UK and last week was my first Christmasing practice! I hafta say it was really good fun and I’m very sure everyone had a good time! From the games, to the food, to the dancing, to the singing and even just talking. :D

It was so interesting to be back and find out what went on and to really have such a wonderful time knowing everyone, and even the new ones as well. And the games were pretty amusing! I mean…all the weird things we listed to try and get points?! What do we need for a meaningful Christmas?

- Christmas friends
- Christmas candles

Hahaha!
Well…It was really good fun! And…okay…im a bit of a psychomotor moron when it comes to dancing, so the dance part was a bit tricky for me la! But it was still really fun! Paiseh a bit, but with a big group and with so many nice people (meaning: ppl who don’t laugh like mad at the paiseh-ing :P) it was really cool!

Looking forward to the next practice and seeing everyone again!
JIA YOU PEOPLE!
THE day is approaching! Aiyo…so exciting. :D

‘Til then!
Becky :)

12 Days of Christmas

Hey everyone!

Adapted from our very own Singaporean version of "12 Days of Christmas", we've started a poll (at the bottom of the page) all the way till Christmas to see which is the hottest food/drink this season! SO STOP SALIVATING AND START VOTING NOW! =)

Our 2nd Practice!

Hello everybody! Amanda here :D

Its great to be back at snp after my Os! Especially when we’re in the midst of practicing for CHRISTMASING! Everyone’s been working very hard but having fun at the same time. Praise God! Last Saturday was my first practice but it was officially the second one.

As you all know, we will be dancing to High School Musical’s “What time is it?” The dance steps may seem very cheam at first, but with the catchy beat and the lovely and dedicated teachers (haha! Its true ;D), the learning process gets much easier and it will just get to you naturally. Everyone did a great job and mastered the chorus for the song. OH, and you must take a look at the pics taken by the photographers while everyone was dancing. super funny la! Heng ah, there were not many of me. & I wasn’t slacking ok! Hahaha :D but yah, everyone really tried hard to learn them all, but it was good progress considering that it’s only the second lesson. Keep it up guys!

And yes of course, Christmas must sing Christmas carols right! So we learnt some new carols taught by Jean Shen. (some old ones too) There were actions to all of the carols too and the carols really made the whole performance much more vibrant and entertaining. J

We had a short game about Christmas trees that day too. That was quite eventful. I didn’t know that Christmas trees (actually pine/fir trees) were used during Christmas to signify everlasting life because it is evergreen (that means it does not shed its leaves all yr round). That’s why they don’t anyhow use any angsana tree. Got meaning one! Oh yes, the refreshments were super good! There was corn plus butter thing in a cup, and biscuits together with crabmeat and mayo or tuna. ;D but we worked them off from doing all those dancing and singing, so don’t feel guilty la. Haha

Ok! So as you can see, we had a lot of fun during our practices. What are you waiting for man. JOIN US EVERY SATURDAY for those of you who are still considering to join. Oh and those of you who are already involved, continue to jia you and practice the dances and songs ok! We’ll put up a great performance for the audience when the time comes.

God Bless!

Amanda :D
