Hello everybody! Amanda here :D
Its great to be back at snp after my Os! Especially when we’re in the midst of practicing for CHRISTMASING! Everyone’s been working very hard but having fun at the same time. Praise God! Last Saturday was my first practice but it was officially the second one.
As you all know, we will be dancing to High School Musical’s “What time is it?” The dance steps may seem very cheam at first, but with the catchy beat and the lovely and dedicated teachers (haha! Its true ;D), the learning process gets much easier and it will just get to you naturally. Everyone did a great job and mastered the chorus for the song. OH, and you must take a look at the pics taken by the photographers while everyone was dancing. super funny la! Heng ah, there were not many of me. & I wasn’t slacking ok! Hahaha :D but yah, everyone really tried hard to learn them all, but it was good progress considering that it’s only the second lesson. Keep it up guys!
And yes of course, Christmas must sing Christmas carols right! So we learnt some new carols taught by Jean Shen. (some old ones too) There were actions to all of the carols too and the carols really made the whole performance much more vibrant and entertaining. J
We had a short game about Christmas trees that day too. That was quite eventful. I didn’t know that Christmas trees (actually pine/fir trees) were used during Christmas to signify everlasting life because it is evergreen (that means it does not shed its leaves all yr round). That’s why they don’t anyhow use any angsana tree. Got meaning one! Oh yes, the refreshments were super good! There was corn plus butter thing in a cup, and biscuits together with crabmeat and mayo or tuna. ;D but we worked them off from doing all those dancing and singing, so don’t feel guilty la. Haha
Ok! So as you can see, we had a lot of fun during our practices. What are you waiting for man. JOIN US EVERY SATURDAY for those of you who are still considering to join. Oh and those of you who are already involved, continue to jia you and practice the dances and songs ok! We’ll put up a great performance for the audience when the time comes.
God Bless!
Amanda :D
